Is "****" an actual word?

while playing scrabble with my cousins one of my cousins said **** is a word and i think it is a slang. We accepted it but i debated and i still think it's a slang but im not sure,i know it is on an online dictionary but like in an actual recent dictionary would it be in there? do you think **** is a word?
