!~~~DOVES WONT MATE~~~!?

Sounds to me like you may have 2 males..... did you notice that when they were in the same cage, did they feed each other? If so then you do have a male and female. But it really sounds like you have 2 male doves. Also a male doves feet are a darker color.. At least with my doves that I had and the females were a lighter color, not as dark as the male's. Did you put a small shallow nesting box in their cage? They do not nest in bird houses like the other types of birds. In the wild, they make their nest on the ground. good luck !!
