My Company Is Downsizing And My Boss Wants To Play Musical Chairs, Is It Legal?

There are 11 of us in my department and my boss said only 4 of us are staying...no one is volunteering to go, the company is very PC and doen't want to hurt anyones feelings, soooo... they are having my boss bring us into the lunchroom on friday to decide layoffs via musical chairs....is this even legal? I would like to video it just in case I can have recourse
